in the eye of the hurricane there is silence, just for a moment
I'm working really hard these days. So much video conferencing, urgency, and new concepts hurts my brain. I'm not trying to keep up with anything beyond local needs and solutions. I see my lane, and I'm sticking too it. building it out. Making a path by walking.
And Im trying to be good. Getting no more intimate than an outdoor meet up feet apart. But when I hear the national news, nothing seems enough. It's probably better that I can't back seat analyze all the shoulda woulda could a for our society, our government.
But I fear we're in the calm before something really shattering. We're antsy. We're worried about the fears we know: poverty, homelessness, loneliness. I hate to even speak into existence what we can't imagine.
